Happy and blessed day, dear friend.
If this is your first time here, I would first of all like to welcome you and tell you a little about myself, my life, and the mission the Lord has entrusted to me.
My name is Margherita Coralluzzo, and I am a Catholic Christian-inspired writer, singer-songwriter, and photographer. I have been a digital missionary since 2007, and everything I create comes from my desire to evangelize, to freely share what I have received, and, through music, writing, images, and words, to reach whomever the Lord chooses to place along my path.
I am happily married to Domenico Di Lisi, and together we have two wonderful children. I am Italian, but I currently live in the Republic of Ireland, the land we believe God chose for our family so that we could continue and bring to fulfilment the mission of love He has entrusted to us.
Domenico and I are founders of the Angeli Missionari (Missionary Angels), together with our longtime friend Andrea Salomone. Today, we also share this journey with Rossella Zoccola and Federica Daponte, who work alongside me in managing the Facebook pages "Madri, Padri e Figli che pregano" ("Mothers, Fathers and Children Who Pray") and "Musica di Adorazione all'Altissimo" ("Music of Worship to the Most High").
My current Catholic parish is Holy Cross Dominican Church in Tralee, County Kerry, entrusted to the Dominican Friars.
I also collaborate with the Apostles of the Interior Life in Rome, consecrated women who have chosen to dedicate their entire lives to God through the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience, living in community without wearing a distinctive religious habit. The founder of the community is Father Salvatore Scorza, a priest of the Diocese of Rome.
Friendship and evangelization, lived day by day, are for me an expression of everlasting gratitude to God. Within the great family of the Catholic Church, priests hold a special place in my life and in my heart. I consider them among my dearest friends, and I pray for them very much. I carry every vocation in my prayers, asking that each one may be protected and lived to the fullest according to the call received from God: the vocation to marriage, consecrated life, and religious life. In a special way, I entrust to the Lord priests, those preparing for the priesthood, consecrated men and women, and religious brothers and sisters, that they may persevere in their calling and continue to offer their lives to Christ and His Church.
Every day, I meditate on the Liturgy of the Word. Prayer permeates my entire life because I desire to live in continual relationship with the Lord throughout the hours of the day: in my work, within my family, in the people I meet, in the music I compose, and in everything I am called to do.
There are several verses of Sacred Scripture that accompany my life in a special way and in which I recognize an essential part of my journey.
"It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." (Galatians 2:20)
"No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13)
"Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give." (Matthew 10:8)
"All things work for good for those who love God." (Romans 8:28)
Then there are the words of Jesus that continually remind me of the Gospel greatness of becoming little:
"Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me." (Matthew 18:3–5)
And again:
"I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike." (Matthew 11:25)
Another invitation that I hold especially close to my heart is:
"Love one another with mutual affection; anticipate one another in showing honor." (Romans 12:10)
There are also entire passages of the Bible that I feel engraved upon my soul: Sirach, especially its words about friendship; Ecclesiastes, with its wonderful teaching about time and the seasons of life; Proverbs and the Book of Wisdom, for the wisdom that forms the heart; and the Psalms, which become prayer in times of joy, waiting, and trial.
But among them all, there is one passage to which I feel especially close: John 17, Jesus' prayer to the Father. Whenever I return to those words, I feel as though I am entering into the intimacy of Christ's prayer, into His love for the Father, for His disciples, and for all those who would come to believe in Him.
The saints are also precious companions on my journey. Saint Paul holds a special place in my heart, and his writings accompany me every day. Alongside him, I carry in my heart Saint Augustine, Saint Rita of Cascia, Saint Teresa of Ávila, and Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: different lives, different stories, yet all able to lead me back to the one source I desire to remain at the centre of everything: Jesus.
This is where this channel begins.
It springs from my life with God, my family, music, writing, photography, the daily meditation of His Word, friendship, mission, and my desire to place the gifts I have received at the service of others.
Here you will find meditations, music, testimonies, spiritual journeys, and everything that, over time, the Lord inspires me to share.
Above all, I would like this to be a place where you can feel welcomed as a friend, because I deeply believe in friendship lived in the presence of God and in that communion which allows even people who live very far apart to meet and recognize one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
So, if you have arrived here for the first time today, you are truly welcome.
Perhaps we are meeting through a screen; perhaps we live thousands of miles apart. But when Jesus is the place where we meet, every distance can become an opportunity for communion.
This is a small part of my story.
And I will be happy and grateful to share a part of the journey with you, always allowing the Lord to show us where to go.
